Responsibilities as APADS officer includes sending correspondence to members notifying them of the monthly meeting, membership fees, and new and upcoming activities.


Dissertation topic: Understanding Clergies Experiences When Responding to Adult Female Victims of Domestic Violence


My general areas of specialty are helping clergy leaders create partnerships with professionals to get the proper resources to respond to these victims effectively.

Academic Mentor/Dissertation Coach

  • Specializing in qualitative research

  • Help students understand their research “gap.”

  • Help students meet specific goals in the research process.

Chaplain

  • Provide spiritual care at designation locations.

  • Lead monthly Bible studies.

  • Assist with bereavement, memorials services, and activities related to religious and spiritual issues of the clients and their families.

APADS is a support organization that fosters and provides mentoring support for Pan-African students and scholars.  We are concerned both with ensuring the academic success of students pursuing a doctoral degree and supporting the professional development of Pan-African scholars in educational research and corporate settings.
